Art is in everything, and everything on this site was created with that knowledge.

To bring our works to life, we shape everything by hand without the use of molds
After carrying out the first firing at 1045°C, we proceed with the decoration using slips we have made ourselves
We coat the sculptures with crystalline to permanently fix the colors and proceed with the second firing at 955°C, which can be followed by a third firing at 710°C if luster gold is applied.

Imagining a world that does not exist

Roberto Fugnanesi was born in 1965 in Sigillo, in upper Umbria, and graduated in 1983 from the Technical Agricultural Institute of Fabriano. He attended the Faculty of Agriculture, majoring in Forestry Sciences in Florence. He has cultivated a passion for painting since a young age, participating in several plein air painting events, as well as some solo and group exhibitions over time. He worked for several years as a sales manager in a company producing ceramics, Ceramica Artistica Umbra. In 2002, he decided to personally engage in ceramic production with the desire to surpass and renew tradition, founding an artisanal workshop of artistic ceramics focused on the continuous research and innovation of forms and technical processes. In 2009, he was included in the catalog of the international competition of the Triennale della Ceramica in Gualdo Tadino with two works.
Catia Ceccacci, born in Gubbio, graduated from the local Art Institute in ceramic arts. She later earned a degree in Art History from the University of Perugia, then specialized at the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage at the University of Siena. For several years, she focused on Renaissance terracotta sculpture from central Italy, with particular attention to the art of the Della Robbia family, producing various publications and collaborating on several exhibitions on the subject. She met Roberto in 2008 and in 2011 began working with him.
Together, in a nineteenth-century building in the historic center of Sigillo, they established a two-person business dedicated to the pursuit of beauty and novelty, creating artifacts, in both form and color, entirely by hand, without the use of molds, making each object unique.
Living in a foothill area, in the Monte Cucco natural park, surrounded by mountains and hills, Catia and Roberto dream of the sea and reinvent it with imagination and irony. The fish are dressed in strange, sometimes bizarre, sometimes funny, sometimes refined shapes, with bright colors, and become individual and distinctive presences. Meanwhile, the characters and bathers are ironic reinterpretations and reflections on the flaws, types, and attitudes of people on the beach or in different circumstances. Works capable of arousing questions and emotions, which testify to all the passion and fun the two artists put into creating them.
